Mama Lous

Mama Lous Evia

What if that homey lunch or dinner can be actually experienced outside the comforts of your own home? But, not too far.. like maybe just a neighborhood resto? Well, for “southerners” (of Manila) as in people from Paranaque, Muntinlupa (Alabang), Las Pinas can easily pinpoint Mama Lous as their go to place for that and for comfort food. As their original store, the dining place in BF Paranaque, was worth a drive even for people who come from the northern part of Manila. Good thing they expanded into several branches accross the metro.

Mushroom Chicharon

I will be forever a south girl at heart so some weekends are made for going to Alabang and even Tagaytay. Good thing, Mama Lous has now branches at Evia Lifestyle Center and even at Solenad, Nuvali as part of our weekend staple. And what made me even happier (and my husband too) is that they one opened one brach at Ayala 30th which is also near our current residence – for those othet weekends in between LOL.
Mama Lous is the favorite of our friends Chiqui and Mina. And eversince we got to taste the originally created flavorful dishes of Mama Lous two years ago, we just kept coming back for it!

The Seafood Aglio Olio pasta is always a hit! The mushroom fries is the one that makes my husband crave for more lol.
There are a lot of other dishes to try – Grilled Tuna, Aglio Olio (plain) Pasta, Margherita Pizza and a whole lot more!

Hi Dad

I don’t know why but I am now feeling hungry even if I just ate!! At first I thought the mushroom chicken was chicharon by the texture and the look! I can’t help but stare at the pizza. It’s one of my fave food ever! Will take note of this and share to my friends!

Greetings from the North. I hope I can visit restaurants from the South too one day. Most of our food review is here in Pampanga and we get some in Manila as well. Perhaps when we are around Laguna I will try to visit resto there and preferably it would be Mama Lous. Their line of food was appealing. Hoping I can visit the place one day.

I am a really great fan of Italian food – particularly spaghetti. Those photos from Mama Lous make me very, very hungry and the place looks cool too. You are lucky to have a chance eating there. Save a slice of pizza for me too, would you? 😀

I’m from the East, so I’m not really familiar with this place. But since I stumbled upon your post, I might as well give it a try, because the food looks so delicious. I seriously want to brave the rain today and eat out. En route to Ayala 30th soon!

The only thing I haven’t tried there for some reason is the mushroom chicharon. How was the taste? I usually go for their pastas like the mac n/ cheese and the seafood agio olio is such a winner for me as well. What would you suggest for dessert? 🙂

We love Aglio Olio and if it’s their one of the best, then we gotta try it! Good thing is we are from the south too! We used to frequent BF Homes Paranaque because of Conti’s. I guess we’ll have another reason to go for a drive now. 😉 I was wondering, how was their price point?
